Buying your own health insurance? I can help.

This page is for anyone who buys their own health insurance, including the self-employed, and for anyone who just lost coverage.

I'm Elizabeth Schneider, a licensed insurance agent in Kentucky. I walk you through your options in plain English, and you decide.

Buying your own

There are a lot of plans, and you don't have to read them all. Tell me who needs coverage and what matters most to you. I'll walk you through your options.

Just lost coverage

A job ended, a plan stopped, life changed. Losing coverage usually opens a limited window to sign up for something new, so call soon. We'll sort out your next step.

Common questions

How much will this cost me?

It depends on you: your age, where you live, who you're covering, and the kind of coverage you want. I won't guess on a web page. Call or text and I'll go through real numbers with you.

Is my doctor covered?

That depends on the plan, so it's one of the first things I check. Tell me who you see and we'll look before you choose anything.

I just lost my coverage. How fast can I get covered?

Losing coverage usually opens a limited window to sign up for something new, so call soon. How quickly a new plan starts depends on your situation. I'll tell you your dates on the call.

Not sure where to start? Start with a call.

One call, no obligation. My help costs you nothing.
